Rossahut is a Canadian store, specializing in preserved roses and flower arrangements. Our roses stay fresh for over a year, without water.
How does it work? We take 100% natural roses and process them by hand to preserve their appearance without losing color or shape.
How Preserved Roses Are Made
- Among the freshest roses, the most fitting in size and texture are selected, while those with weak petals, or too small or too large are filtered out.
- After that, the selected roses go through a number of preparation processes (cleaning, pruning stems and thorns) and are categorized by size. The small ones will go into arrangements and gift sets, while the large ones will become preserved roses.
- Then roses are placed in a special solution containing glycerin and other plant-based substances in which they will stay for some time. During this time the flowers will be saturated with the solution, which will replace the water in them, ensuring long-lasting preservation of color and shape.
- After the treatment, the roses are dried and after some time, you will receive fully preserved roses that will retain form, shape, and color even after 365 days.
